Lightflies are insectoid creatures, that seem to be far away cousins of the [[Skahns]], living in [[Ibune]]. Over 200 species of lightflies have been recorded, many of which are known for their light-emitting wings. They feed on mushrooms, plant mush and some plant pollens depending on the species and climaters they are found in - making them extremely ill-suited to the most arid climates. Even though it must be said that some scientists have observed lightflies living in the [[Solitude]] as well as the [[Lucilsich Desert]]. Its specimens vary slightly in size, but their body rarely grow bigger than 20 centimeters. The main feature of the Lightflies are their wings, which become light-emitting after the insect has been exposed to [[Moment]]. This is why lightflies are often found in lanterns, with openings exposing them to [[Momentstorm|momentstorms]] and making them shine. The most famous use of this is the [[Black City of Lirveg]] and [[Vanta's Gap]] where Lightflies are the main source of light during night, and day.
