The Aspects are the the deities who created the world of [[Erathia]] according to the [[Retelling]]. Their presence on Erathia has been cyclical and is part of the teachings taught in the religious texts gathered in the Retelling. ***Necessary Disclaimer*** Our understanding of the Aspects, during the 16th century of the [[Reign of Blood]], is mainly sourced from texts written during the [[Second Coming of the Aspects]]. Some additional texts, written during the [[Age of Insurrection]] are part of our corpus, though they require unique translating skills to be brought to our understanding - notwithstanding their actual physical state. # The Court of Voices The Court of Voices is the name used to refer to the Aspects as a whole, instead of their divine nature. According to Thanirist texts, during the [[Age of Creation]], the Court of Voices was made whole, with the ten Aspects gathered. Each of them had overseen the creation of a part of [[Humankind]], and thus each took over a domain. The Aspects are listed here in order of their appearance in the Retelling. ## The Celestial Architect *For more information, see the [[Celestial Architect]]*. Known as the Great Founder, the Origin, the Architect. They are associated to the Aspect of Creation, and are the patron of all those that add to the world. Their role during the [[Scorched Conquest]] is the less documented and the most subjected to debate considering their otherwise central position in the Court of Voices. ## The Golden Herald *For more information, see the [[Golden Herald]]*. Known as the Voice of Change. They are associated to the Aspect of Evolution, and are the patron of all those that change the world. ## The Great Devourer *For more information, see the [[Great Devourer]].* They are associated to the Aspect of Excess. ## The Patient Hand *For more information, see the [[Patient Hand]]*. Known as the Voice of Reason. They are the only known Aspect to have died. Their death happened during the [[Scorched Conquest]] against an unknown foe of the [[Scorched Guard]].
