Iconurgy is the most widely used form of [[Nitescence]] on [[Erathia]] and is mainly opposed to the use of [[Moment]], another form of Nitescence. Every [[Erathi]] has the ability to become an Iconurgist, if they are lucky enough to be trained as one and given the responsibility of a [[Splinter]], a piece of divine power entrusted to the original Iconurgists by the [[Aspects]] during the [[Age of Creation]]. An individual imbued with the power of a Splinter will have access to their otherwise untapped potential, and become able to ingest [[Brilliance]] to fuel their abilities. As of the day of writing of this article, the ratio of Iconurgists to common individual has become [[Iconurgists Rarefaction|as low as 1 to 150.000]], and has led to malfunction in most nations in the past 200 years due to their heavy reliance on Iconurgic powers. To such an extent that in many countries, the practice of Iconurgy is considered a ruling privilege and only individuals accredited by the rulers are allowed to use it. # The Iconurgic Arts There are Five Iconurgic Arts known to us, and they are though to be tightly connected to the genetical descent of an individual, and to the [[Five People]]. However, through mixing over hundreds of generations, the Five Arts have mingled with one another, giving birth to ten minor arts, that are combination of their abilities. ## The Five Major Arts The Five Major Arts make up the foundation of our understanding of Iconurgy. It is through their structure that the Ten Minor Arts exist and combine. - Iconurgy of [[Conception]], individuals of [[Ausotri]] descent - Iconurgy of [[Expression]], individuals of [[Aeri]] descent - Iconurgy of [[Perception]], individuals of [[Kotri]] descent - Iconurgy of [[Inscription]], individuals of [[Quiori]] descent - Iconurgy of [[Volition]], individuals of [[Tromeri]] descen ## The Ten Minor Arts *This section is under writing.*
